Step one:
If you're like me you wash your face when your taking a shower(if not I strongly advise you to WASH your hands first.....then apply cleanser) I apply Neutrogena "Oil-free acne stress control"scrub looks
I use a soft scrub puff and gently stroke it around my pimple area and around my face.
FYI! it's very important that you don't use a washcloth, the reason is that when using a washcloth the pimples can rupture and spread the bacteria on your skin
Step Two:
when your out and about and start noticing that there is a new pimple stop on your face, use a thin layer of 2.5 to 4% of benzoyl peroxide. it doesn't matter what brand you get as it long as it has that 2.5-4% benzoly my choice is Neutrogena "on the spot" acne treatment it's very handy and great to carry around in your make up bag. remember to wash your hands before applying the thin layer you wouldn't want to spread anymore bacteria on your face.
Step Three:
after a long day of work and activity's I like to cool off with a shower before I go to bed and just like I do in the mornings I wash my face in the shower, but this time with a night cleanser and personally I love how this cleanser makes my skin feel all relaxed and soft plus it smells really good. It's another Neutrogena product and this one is called "deep clean relaxing night cleansing"
Step Four:
I don't know about you but I like my skin to be soft and look healthy when i wake up, so I use Aveeno's smart essentials nighttime moisture infusion and you pretty much apply it once your heading to bed after you cleanse your face.very soft!!!
Step five:
Once you're washed and medicated, HANDS OFF!!! NO PICKING, POPPING OR RUBBING.........PERIOD.
I hope this routine comes handy for you cause so far it's going like it should :]
